Kindred Spirits was born from a simple desire: To care.

Our founder, Tina, launched Kindred Spirits 18 years ago to support her family while nurturing her passion. In the beginning, it could only be a part-time endeavor, though it always had her full-time heart.

For Tina, it has never been just about hair, it’s about creating space to connect, support, and grow together. Built on word-of-mouth and deep-rooted trust, her small business naturally flourished into a full-time practice held together by lifelong relationships.

Founder, Certified Sisterlocks® Consultant, & Certified Trichologist

With over 18 years of experience, Tina brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and deep compassion to her work. Her practice was founded on creating genuine connections, inspiring the name Kindred Spirits. For her, it’s more than just hair. It’s about creating a dedicated sanctuary where you can recharge, find community, and grow alongside your fellow “Kin.” 

As a mother and dedicated community leader, Tina ensures that when you sit in her chair, you are entering a supportive partnership. It is an experience designed to leave you feeling beautiful, inspired, and completely ready to take on the world.

Kellie is a licensed esthetician, a certified Sisterlocks® trainee. She has also been a dedicated fellow “Kin” of over 15 years. She is deeply grateful for the warm welcome she has received, and is excited to join the Kindred Spirits team. She is honored to transition from being a longtime client to now providing these restorative services to members of her own community.
